Chapter III – Seek God First! Part IV

God wants us to put Him first above all other things, to seek after Him first. And He wants us to understand that we all have the ability to walk away from any sin that tempts us along the way. Understand that our own sin will lead us from the path which God has pre destined us to follow, and understand that along the way we will stumble and fall but its up to us when and if we will receive Gods Blessings which He has already set aside for us. Its just a question of if and when, and how badly do I want Gods Blessing for my life. Do I want them now or later or perhaps never. I'd like to choose now.

So now the attacks from Satan and his army continue, but we have been given weapons to use against Satan and any tool he may use against us to tempt us to sin. Read Ephesians Chapter 6, 'The Armor of God', notice verses 6 to 8. Read verses 10 to 24 each day, memorize it and recite it whenever you feel the temptation of sin coming on.

Satan is a corrupt and chaotic being who's main purpose to lead you away from God and to bring into your life curse after curse. But the tools we have against satan are more powerful than he is or will ever be.

The Blessings and promises of God will come when we follow Him, put God first and foremost in our lives. Order in our lives is key, God, Wife, Daughter, Family, Friends, Work, Passions. If we rearrange out lives and priorities to match that of which God would have us do, then all those other things we desire, being Gods will, will come to pass quite soon.

I often feel that the comment, 'Gods timing' which is Biblical and with all the best Godly intentions of others is misused too often. I be live that if we put God first through Jesus Christ our Saviour, and we put forth a greater effort to follow Godly orderly lives, that Gods timing can be in the present, rather than some future possibility. Rather consider instead of, 'well it must not be God time' or 'It must my be Gods will', true for many things. But consider that Gods timing can in the here and now if only we put Him first, try harder to put aside the old sinful ways.

Satan will flee when we resisthim and proclaim out loud that Jesus Christ is my Saviour, and satan will comeback again and again. The battle will never end unfortunately until Christ’sreturn to this earth and satan and all his demands are departed from here. Godrewards His followers for Godly behavior and the promises of Isaac will come topass for you and me.
